Solving baggage problems before landing
My Bag is a web-based software application for Airlines whose operation is focused on a HUB strategy. It allows real-time analysis of critical flights and critical baggage allowing the HUB managers to make the right decisions at the right time!

Our task was to understand the users involved and their work environment in order to design a solution that can improve the analysis of critical flights and critical baggage on the ground.

THE PROCESS
Design Process
My Bag was designed to take preventive decisions about baggage connections and to control the end-to-end HUB baggage process. Understanding the target users, how they think and their work environment was crucial. Being in the field gave us relevant insights like the lack of light that ended up dictating the product dark mode.
Dashboard
A solution for high performance on the ground
Highlight relevant information for decision making through color: black background facilitates reading in work environments and spaces with low light. The horizontal menu at the bottom of the device facilitates navigation as it is easier to access considering the position of use.
ARRIVALS & DEPARTURES
Track in real time
Get alerts in real time and track arrivals & departures bags info in the same area. The arrivals area can be expanded with a simple tap.
Baggage Trace
Tracing with agility
Navigate between details and events with a simple swipe / tap. Users are able to have a large amount of information in an easy and accessible way, without compromising the reading.
container
Container Trace & Container Bags
Through the LPN and container numbers users can trace the airplane container in seconds, with a simple and intuitive navigation and straight forward visuals.

With a huge amount of information to display, we needed to come up with a solution to not overload the screen with details that don't need to be always displayed. So, we designed an expandable area where users can see more details with one tap.
Chute Heating Map
Focus on the essential
We selected a color code to visually define the types of chute alerts: Full Chute: red - Open Chute: green - Remaining alerts: orange.
Users can access archived alerts: tapping "selected" on the alerts will remove them from the main list. This way the platform only shows essential information that the user should focus on.
